Donations we cannot accept (in principle):
- Materials with damage, stains, or writing
- Materials promoting political/religious views or specific commercial activities
- Unpublished manuscripts
- Newspapers, magazines, manga, light novels, or similar
- Audiovisual materials (Blu-ray, DVD, CD, etc.)
For details, please see the donation guidelines (PDF, JP).
Damage & Loss Compensation
So that children and parents can enjoy library books with peace of mind, we do not require compensation for tears or stains.
However, if a book is fully or partially lost, compensation will be required.
In-Library Music
We play soft background music throughout the library.
If you find total silence uncomfortable, the gentle music can help you relax and focus on reading or studying.
