Our Library Highlights
More than just a place to read — Hakui Public Library is a place to spend time.
Children's Library
A relaxed space where babies and young children can use the library without worrying about noise. Storytime for ages 0–3 is held on the 4th Saturday of every month at 11:00 a.m.
Study Space
Free-to-use study area with both individual and group desks. Bring your own drinks while you work or read.
Special Exhibitions
New arrivals, staff picks, bestsellers, and seasonal selections — themed displays change regularly, so be sure to check what's new.
Board Games
We lend board games for home use. One game per person, one-week loan.
Manga & Comics
Popular series including Demon Slayer, SLAM DUNK, and ONE PIECE. Available for in-library reading. Educational manga can be borrowed.
Window Reading Seats
Reading seats spread along our curved wall of large windows. Enjoy turning pages in soft natural light.
